PLATELET RICH PLASMA IS A TECHNOLOGY WHICH USED THE NATURAL REPAIRING PROPERTY OF PLATELETS.

Platelet are certain particles found in human blood , which helps in repairing any injuries to body parts or cells or tissues. PRP involves separating these platelets from the blood, by an elaborate process. Then these particles are activated by an activator, and two medicines are added for special function. These are then given to the injured knee or spine, shoulder, hip, ankle or ligaments and tendons. The healing process starts, and will continue for months. The PRP process in our clinic is totally different from those injections given at other hospitals or clinics in Manipur or other north eastern states. This process was initially developed at AIIMS, new delhi and then perfected by Dr Sushil Loitongbam, during a long period of clinical study and improvements.
